I Think that is the sum of the answer up there. Basically Blu-Ray is a CD Storage format, while HD - unless you are talkin bout the DVD HD - is a video format which includes the screen size per se
(16:9 screen ratio as such compared to the regular 4:3 old TV screen size) and the bit-rate quality.
If you mean the DVD HD or HDVD, well... its a bit like the Laser disc.... meaning... its going dinosaur.... extinct..... its has a bigger memory than the regular DVD but basically the same. Compared to Blu Ray tho... which has waayyy bigger memory.
