Not in the top 20 I say.
What decent wins has Shane had over the past 2 years?
Sam Peter? Are you ****ing serious? What he beats an old and semi-shot fat Toney and then two old average journeyman and he is ranked higher than Kessler?
I would also have him ahead of Abraham, Casa, JuanMa, Molitor, Juan Diaz, Hatton.
He is easily top 20 for mine, let alone top 25.

Casamayor fought a prime Corrales, Castillo, Frietas, and Marquez all of which were former P4P listers... his record against elites 2(1KO)-4(1KO). The Castillo he fought beat Mayweather in a lot of fans eyes, the Frietas he fought practically knocked everbody out. Kessler only fought one P4P lister and his performance ******. Is Kessler an elite? No he's just a good boxer. Now, is Casamayor an elite? Yes. He held the Ring Magazine belt didn't he?

I think Hatton is above him to be honest... Beating Tszyu is better than anything Kessler has done, and losing to Mayweather > losing to Calzaghe, even if it is just by a bit.

Also, Juan Diaz's resume is way ahead of Kessler's. That one is not close IMO.

I'd place him below Arthur. I think the only reason people are hyping Kessler is because he's on Calzaghe's resume and Calzaghe needs a solid win over an elite...sadly the only "elite" on his resume is a faded Bernard Hopkins (who knocked him down and practically beat him in the eyes of a lot of fans), so I think Calzaghe fans are trying to convince the world that Kessler is an "elite" which obviously he isn't.

Casamayor is old as **** though, and has looked worse than a fat chick sober in his last two fights.

Also, think about his ring belt... Got it from a guy who was KO'd in his last fight (Corrales). Corrales didn't win another fight after that. Then he took a year off, came back, and looked horrible, losing that fight in everyone's eyes except two judges and Don Omega's. Then he was getting beaten by a no skill idiot in Katsidis. He looked okay tonight, but... really, Casamayor was a couple years removed of being truly elite. A remnant who no one had been able to "beat", or at least come away with a win against him if you know what I mean.

You are probably right. I find I do overrate Kessler a little bit just because I am a pretty big fan. Its funny because I have previously started threads attacking his resume and using it as justification for him not being in the top 10 p4p. Hatton I think is close. The Tzsyu win was years ago now, and I think his recent wins have been against fairly ordinary position. I agree it is close though.

What the hell has Arthur Abraham done that is so great?

Edison Miranda? Wow... Not impressed, really.
