The most underated fighter of this era. When people talk about who's the best its always names like Pacquiao, Mayweather and Hopkins.

Pacquiao id say rates higher because he's a greater fighter but De La Hoya ****s on anyone else and his resume leaves them in the dust

    Paez
    Molina
    Ruelas
    Hernandez
    Leija
    Chavez x2
    Gonzalez
    Sweet Pea
    Camacho
    Quartey
    Car
    Tito
    Mosley (Beta Version)
    Gatti
    Castillejo
    El Feroz
    Campas
    Mayorga

^^^ Nobody can **** with that resume.

In his prime he would've beaten pac easily, probably floyd too.

I agree. Its too bad that Mayweather, nor Pacquiao are willing to give these younger lions a chance to face them and become stars. That's what keeps the sport alive. But it is on the downside because the mega stars of the sport won't face this newer crop coming up. And a prime Dela Hoya KO's both Manny and Floyd. He had the perfect style to defeat both. He almost beat Floyd when he was past his prime. The jab and left hook would have been too much for either one.

DLH fought top comp, no denying that. He never dominated any of the best except Gatti. Floyd and Pac dominate really good fighters. Although its true he makes fighters famous he's far from underrated. Maybe we can just agree that he's the most famous. Thats reasonable.

Mitts dont hit back. When he fought Bhop he was dropped from a body punch.

When he fought Tito he lost.

When he fought Mayweather he lost.

When he fought Mosley he lost.

When he fought Pacquiao his face got disfigured and he quit on the stool and was sent into retirement from a lightweight moving 3 classes up in weight.

Gay la hoya never beat a elite fighter and tied with Gayweather as the biggest frauds in boxing in the last 10 years.
