George Estrada, Director of the Omega Promotions, says former champion Ricardo "El Matador" Mayorga, has signed a contract to face Rene "Level" Martinez (4-0) in a Mixed Martial Arts contest on July 27th in Managua, Nicaragua. On May 4th in Managua, Mayorga made his debut in Mixed Martial Arts against Wesley Tiffer and won by TKO in the second round. But there were several issues after the match was over. For starters, Mayorga weighed in 20-pounds over the contracted limit of 165-pounds. Only MMA would allow these farce fights between old retired and battered athletes

JAMES TONEY hasn't been relevant in a boxing match in years, but headlined a UFC PPV

    Pathetic

It doesn't count when they're fighting in their own sport crybaby... UFC accepts a washed up boxer and bills the event "BOXING VS MMA", when did boxing ever do that?

And when's the last time any of those guys were on a mainstream PPV??

Fedor can make a comeback, and I wouldn't give a shit, but if Fedor joined boxing, do u really think HBO would put that on PPV? They wouldn't even put it on free tv
