  • Comments Thread For: Conte Feels There is Heavy PED Usage at London Games

Victo Conte, convicted owner of the now-defunct BALCO laboratory that was at the centre of a global steroid scandal, has said that the drug-testing programme at the 2012 Olympics was irrelevant.

"It's basically propaganda to come out and say this is the most expensively-tested Games ever and 'we're doing 6,000 tests'," Conte was quoted as telling The Times newspaper.

"You have to put your hook and line in the water when the fish are biting and that was nine months ago. Is it easy to use drugs and benefit during (the) Olympics? Yes." [Click Here To Read More]

World records broken never came this easy. Technology advances and the records will keep being broken as long as they keep getting away with it. Maybe that's what Conte was trying to say?

So his argument is they all should have been tested 9 months ago. Maybe he has a point. 60% is overstating it though imo, that suggests 6 out of every 10 athletes is a cheat. I find that difficult to believe in this day and age.

Im so over Conte. He's annoying & redundant, espically considering he's the biggest cheater of them all and is still doing it himself most likely. He's like the Doctor version of Jose Canseco. A complete attention whore. Just go sit the fuk down & disappear already

          Quote of the day, lol!

He's got a point but as already mentioned 6/10 athletes is pushing it slightly.

They should be subject to WADA testing 24/7 - 365 days a year. Then and only then should they be given they benefit of our doubt.

One quote that did alarm me at these games was about possible use of Gene therapy. If that's got any truth to it, we're all ****ed.

When you consider that certain countries are currently objecting to intervention in Syria, purely for financial and political gain, it certainly casts doubt about whether they'd get qualm's over altering their athletes.

Just a rumor at this point but it does make you wonder?

**** Conte. He didn't give alternative supplements to his customers. He gave his customers supplements that could either beat testing, or get caught by testing.

They said Conte was sentenced to Prison. Are they sure it wasn't jail? Where are the folks that care about this so much? Let's clear this up.
