Seagal is a 7th degree black belt in Aikido. Crazy, but there are plenty of techniques in a basic white belt Aikido class that can be helpful in a fight, or in self defense. Can't imagine what kind of crazy timing or countering a legit black belt can teach. I've seen the training between Seagal/Anderson/Llyoto and man is it strict when it comes to technique

The art evolved from Chuck Norris' original training in Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan, a Korean style known primarily for its kicking techniques.[3] Norris would train in various other styles under some of the most respected instructors in the United States. These instructors included Shotokan Karate masters Tsutomu Ohshima and Hidetaka Nishiyama, ****ō-ryū Karate instructor Fumio Demura, American Kenpo Karate founder Ed Parker, Judo expert Gene LeBell, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legends the Machado family.

Silva's lying. He learned that front kick from Chuck Norris. Aikido doesn't work in MMA.
