Most underrated fighter in recent years?

strongly disagree. Clottey has always been limited by his defensive posture and lack of lateral movement. I could see that before the Pac fight. He is durable. I'll give him that. He's sort of like a better version of Ben Tackie.
My picks are guys like Chris John and Erdei who sort of impose obscurity on themselves but keep winning and occasionally beat decent opponents.Last edited by Cardinal Buck; 07-31-2012, 11:36 AM.

nishioka, wonjonkam, and moreno are up there.
abril is perhaps the contemporary champion in that regard.

I don't call guys that find ways to lose underrated~
I would say Robert Guerrero most guys who win a belt at 126, grab a couple straps between, then win a belt at 147 would get tons of love even if he hasn't fought tons of great opposition. Just going from 126 to beat a top ten guy at 147 is rare as hell but he doesn't get much love at all. In fact is all I hear is how he needs to prove more~

Moreno is obviously not underrated if he keeps getting mentioned in these threads which happen to pop up twice a week.
Carlos Molina and Miguel Vazquez are underrated.
