I’ve been reading around the web about snook & tarpon fishing. Based on the information obtained, I upgraded my fishing tackle accordingly (rod, reel, line, hooks etc.). However, I still have my doubts about lure size and fishing techniques. I have an assortment of peacock bass and large mouth bass hard and soft swim bait lures from 2’’ up to 4.5’’. Two guys recommended me to use live shrimp or fresh sliced fish as bait. Other recommended lures are the D.O.A lures, but they don’t persuade me because of their cost.
If anyone can provide me with some advice about snook and tarpon lures(type & size) and fishing techniques, based on personal experience, I will be grateful.
