Pablo Cesar Cano (25-1-1, 19KOs) is still beaming over Saturday's victory over previously undefeated Johan Perez (15-1-1, 12KOs) in Cancun, Mexico. Cano captured the interim-WBA super lightweight title by majority decision with scores of 68-65, 68-65 and 67-67. The fight was stopped early due to a cut over the right eye of Cano. The boxer has dedicated the victory to his veteran trainer Rudy Perez.

Cano's in the mix at 140 too. Cano and Garcia would make for a good fight. I like Cano he makes good fights but it pisses me off when these fights claim to be champs after winning a interim belt.
