Does this fight make sense ?

After Froch deafeated Bute, Pavlik came out and said he wants to face Froch because he can beat him.

Both guys are not necessarily great boxers but both are solid punchers and like to brawl.

I think it could turn into a war.

Pavlik could go Britain where Froch will get large crowds, or he can have a fight in Vegas to gain more of US crowd.

I don't think Pavlik has done anything at 168 to demand a tittle shot. However being an ex-champ and well known may get him the fight. I think Pavlik would KO Froch if he puts his heart into his training. Froch will try to get a fight with Kessler I think.

Seriously though, if Pavlik gets another 1-2 wins and looks good I think he's as good as an opponent as anyone at 160-168. He's still young young and if his mind is in the game which it seems like it is recently, he can be a tough opponent.

Avlik gets murdered, IMO, he should fight Pavlik. That'd be a good fight that'd be FOTY candidate. If no Kessler or Ward, he should fight Pavlik

It is fight that makes some sense, especially if Pavlik can bank 2 or 3 wins hopefully over someone fairly meaningful. I won't hold my breath on that though but I would still watch it but I would watch most any boxing.

Pavlik hasn't done enough at 168 to get a shot at Froch however this is a fun fight and would be exciting while it lasted Froch would K.O Pavlik he's just better he can outbox him and out brawl him.

Not saying I don't like Pavlik-Froch but let's not get carried away here. Pavlik is fighting pure bums right now and we dunno how he would look vs a world class fighter.

I don't mind the fight but I think Ward-Froch II would be a much bigger draw right now and probably a worthy rematch. But thinking back, Froch said he wouldn't fight Ward again if Im not mistaken.
