  • [HOLY S**T!] after 'Capitalism' become past prime who will replace it?..

If the Capitalism become past prime and decided to retire, who will replace it?

  • #2
Capitalism cannot retire because it's not a collective system that just picks up and leaves. Of course there are Anti-Free Market forces at play every day, trying to undermine Capitalism and when their inference damages the economy....blame Capitalism instead of blaming Govt.

This is also a fallacious question. Almost no country lets 100% Free Market Capitalism function on it's own. They call this 'Mixed Economy' where they think we need a balance. Of course they know that the Private Sector/Capitalist part pays for the other part of the 'Mixed Economy'....e.g. welfare, education and other form of spending. And gradually the letter is getting bigger while the Free Market part is getting smaller...bringing about the collapse. So what replaces it?

Hopefully they learn their lesson and return to Capitalism. But who knows.

I don't think so. Of course less imports and more exports are encourages voluntarily under the Capitalism umbrella as well but that aint gonna happen. The American people better realize what's good for em.....which is Mitt Romeny and other Capitalists investing in Chinese factories who provide cheap labor so that Americans can enjoy the made, cheap stuff that comes from it...while working in the Service Sector. Rather then doing the cheap labor themselves in a Mercantilist country.

Of course we need more people to suck it up and take lower wages if we want the manufacturing to come back. But having the entire country working low wages is for developing & emerging economy Nations....not for the U.S.

There is no way of knowing. But what i do know is that Capitalism is the world champion of systems. You can blame FascISM, SocialISM, CommunISM etc,. There is a lot of ISM's at the end that you can blame, but not Capital-ISM.

That's the perfect system for freedom/competition of ideas and voluntary exchange. Different religions competing for your buck by trying to convert you and spend money in their church/temple. Businesses competing for your buck, to try to get you to buy their goods or services. The system that incentivises greed and it's usefulness in society (unlike other systems) as this guy explains perfectly :
