Never heard of him...not a whole lot of heavyweight competition in Mexico so it's definitely a padded record. Also, if Canelo loses in Sept his popularity goes way down and be will not have the future everyone thinks he has.

I am not sure David fought in Mexico, he is a Mexican American heavyweight and he lives in Texas.
But padded record yes, of that there is no question

He's from here in El Paso and his biggest win to dat is Owen Beck. He looks impressive but then again it's against c- compatition. He's a 6ft 5in Mexican American boxer who's in actual shape. But his promoters have really dropped the ball with him and he was also stabbed in Arizona last year and has been inactive for a really long time.

His career has stalled & he's in his mid 30s. It's now or never. He has a win over a washed up owen beck in 30some fights... Padded record for sure! He will fight on the canelo undercards with possible fights with quality opponents. Rodriguez vs ruiz jr, arreola or manny quezada would be logical choices if you are looking for a latin flavored event...

36-0, with 34 KOs? He's got a better knockout percentage than Vitali!
