no one here can give you a definate answer because no one here trains with arturo gatti. i've only seen him doing traditional things like shadow boxing, pad work etc. from clips or pics on the net.

i think he was talking more about the fitness aspect of it, as opposed to acuall ring skill,hence the "how does he stay in such good shape?" question.
