The all-Pinoy battle between former WBA interim super flyweight champion Drian Francisco (20-1-1, 16 KOs) of Touch Gloves Gym, and Michael Domingo (41-15-2, 19 KOs) of the ALA stable, has been pushed back to September 24 at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City, Philippines. Francisco was a rising star in the country until he was beaten in May by Thai boxer Tepparith Singwancha. Domingo, a tough veteran, has gone 22-3 since 2005 and fought several recognizable opponents in his long career.
