  • 12 year old blames online pron for raping 9 year old

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...rnet-****.html

Online **** drove boy of 12 to rape girl, 9: He wanted to 'feel grown up' after viewing explicit images
Schoolboy was copying acts he had watched online, court hears
His lawyer warned that the case was just the 'tip of the iceberg', with many others going unreported

Judge Lady Smith said he should be given advice on handling relationships and sexual development rather than face jail. She handed him a four year supervision order to be carried out under the Children’s Panel, which means he will be closely supervised by social workers until the age of 18.

She told the boy he was being given an opportunity to ‘make something of yourself’.

Shocking story, a shocking excuse for his crime and a shocking sentence by the judge.

Is this rapist defence team right and it was all the internet's fault or is the truth is this 12 year old is a sick &*$* and deserves to be locked up for a long time.

The excuse is flimsy but I like how the judge handled it. He's only 12 let him receive counseling and try to make something of himself when he becomes an adult. 12 is too early to give up on someone.

Assuming you're right, that should be the standard of justice for such crimes.

But, a 12 year old knows what rape is and all 12 year olds watch pron. Not just since the internet, it use to be that kids would steal magazines and videos.

Can't say I agree with the judge there.

I am totally, absolutely and resolutely against censorship, I have not and will not move an inch from that position, When censorship is invoked it becomes a tool for repressive governments to hide corruption and pump out propganda to the masses. People should have the right to choose what they want to read, see or hear, To control that is to produce a bunch of mindless automatons who know nothing other than what the state tells them.

I dont see why the government should take it upon itself to regulate the INTERNET, If parents can not parent their children society should not have to suffer in the form of censored content to reward bad parents.
