Assuming you dont gain or lose weight, why is that?

I've been 145 for the past 8 years, and after like a month of not working out its like I have to start at the beginning again. I dont see why this is possible since i'm not losing muscle or gaining fat. also like my abs will and chest will be less defined

I have read that muscle strength and size start to break dowm after 7 days...after i take a break from training it usually takes me about 3 weeks to regain my strength........

Muscle will brake down but it will be back fast once you start again. Taking a rest is also a good thing. A week of after 3 months intense workouts is a good idea if you ask me. You get back even stronger!

dutchy dynamite pretty much said .

also.. whatever muscles you're trying to target the most.. hit twice a week.. 3 days a part.. muscles need 48 hours to repair.. its hard.. and you will be sore.. everyday.. ( i look like a dumbass when i walk right now and my triceps feel like they are gonna fall off.
