If Alexander wins this, you can bet Arum will try to make a unification rematch

Devon Alexander sucks. And what's even ****tier is that this will take up a Saturday night of boxing.

Yeah I am not really thrilled about this match up. But their both champs why not unify the belts at 147.

I can't wait to see this fight. Boxer vs Puncher match ups has a history of making great fights.( Ali/Forman, Leonard/Hearns, Mayweather/Corrales ) This fight has great potential. Devon is only second to Mayweather in skill set at welterweight, and Randall Bailey is the biggest puncher in the division.

Devon does not have a belt - his only fight at 147 was against Maidanna . No unification here, Devon gets hit, but he is a very physical boxer so he might be able to smother and push bailey around? I think it will be a good fight - bailey is at a point in his career where he is very patient dont sleep on the mike jones fight - jones is a big welterweight, bailey let him get tired and sloppy then after a couple mistakes, made him pay - might be a good fight.. to ko upper echelon fighters late in a fight speaks volumes of how dangerous bailey is and he is like 37 years old.

Devon will win against Bailey. Because Bailey is not active enough to beat Devon not unless he cracked Devon's Jaw and that's another story.

                  Alexander by KO

Alexander is going to destroy Bailey in an exciting fight. Alexander has proven that being a one trick pony will not work against him. Ask Urango and Maidana. It's a great fight because Bailey will be trying to deliver that bomb, and Alexander will be using raw boxing skills while still delivering his own bombs as well.

How can Alexander be sh..ty when HBO kept paying him to be a main event, Floyd Mayweather is calling him after wins with complements, and now Showtime has him as a main event. My money goes with folks that know boxing.

Bailey is basically like a basketball player that can do nothing but dunk. Alexander has the whole package….especially at 147!

Bailey has one punch KO power at welter, like Hearns had. Devon has to be on point Sept.8th.
