  • If God is omnibenevolent and the ultimate source of justice

    then how come hell exists in the first place?

    we as mortals can only commit a limited number of sins in our life time. even the most evil does not deserve an eternity of torment.

    logically speaking, hell shouldn't exist.

    Who are you to say if they deserve it or not?

    Your logic is shortsighted and ILLOGICAL....

    The omnibenevolent gave us free will,And that is all you need to know.From that you can have reasons.

          Free will doesn't exist. Or at least that's what it says in the bible.

              So God keeps us in the dark, yet gave us the intellect to make rational decisions. If we have free will our choices depend on what? Obedience or intelligence?
              To not question is to remain ignorant, yet thats exactly what having faith in God means. Or does it?

              An eternity of punishment hangs on this tangled logic?

              The Devil = Boogeyman.

              Religion = myth.

              Well thats one explanation.

                  Just going from sheer size, it's hard to believe that the universe is here for us or to judge us, to analyze our microscopic, fleeting lives. I'm sure we're representatives of the universe in some way because we are thinking creatures that are the children of energy and mass (which were the children of the big bang), but nobody believes a grain of sand on a beach is being judged, and in the scheme of things we're not much bigger than that.

                    As "his-story" goes, God created everything in existence, including hell. The ability to do good/evil, as well as every human emotion is a creation of God according to "his-story". So when ever you commit a sin, blame your God. It's his fault.
