I think in the first half of the fight, although cotto was knocked down, he was doing well and hit pacquiao with some good shots to the body and head . but pacquiao proved he can take punishment and still fight back .

The first knockdown scored by Pacquiao changed the fight. I had Cotto winning that round. Roach knew about Cottos stamina issues so pacquiao took it easy for the first few rounds and then dominated the rest of the fight.

The weight may have effected Cotto slightly but I see the same result happening if they rematch or had fought at 147. Cotto is not the elite fighter he was, margarito took alot out of him.

Prime Cotto would have given Pacquiao a more competitive fight. I could see it being a very close fight which could go either way. Then again Cotto never has had the best defence so Pacquiao might have been trailing on the scorecards but could easily end up stopping him late on.
