Jorge Arce vs Hussein Hussein. The Forgotten Classic!

What a fight, Great back and forth battle, made me an instant Arce fan when I watched this live. This was on the undercard of Pac-morales too.

Should have made you an instant Hussein fan. he was badly, badly outweighed (9lbs is a crazy amount at those lower weightclasses) and never said die, boxing like a master with that heavy animal breathing down his neck, then hanging in there and fighting to the death when Arce's advantage began to overwhelm him.


I like Arce, too, but he gets too great a slice of the credit for that fight - I still contend Hussy was the better man that night.

it was an awesome fight shadowed by the main event of that night, great awesome fight, one of the better fights in recent history...... arce's nose was about to fall off, one of the most brutal cuts in a fight to have let it go on, thankfully they did, it was an instant classic....
