  • People's attitude on Wlad has almost done a 180..

Not even three years ago, every time Wlad fought, everyone thought it was an upset waiting to happen, they were even giving Ray Austin a chance to beat Klitschko. Now, no one is willing to step out on a limb and pick against Wlad, even Teddy Atlas has quited down.

The change is gradual and slow but Wlad is already in the P4P top 10 rankings and rising. I sense that if he keeps it up for another year or so, the Americans will come around, including HBO and Showtime, they'll want a piece of him again. His greatness is just starting for the casaul fan (and former haters, although if that describes you, I am glad you are coming around)... which of course his die hard fans knew to be the case many years ago.

Wlad was supposed to be done after Brewster stopped him. A bit of Steward's safety first advice and now he's duller but all but untouchable. HBO apparently got tired of airing systematic executions.

simply put he's improved his game and his performances have gotten better.

Occasionally in the past it just seemed like he was this big guy who was only winning because of the lack of good opponents and his size. And while lack of good opponents may still be a problem, he's dominating, he's technically sound and never looks vulnerable, etc.

It's not as bad as it used to be, but many people still give him backhanded compliments. It's too bad most americans can't apreciate foreign athletes dominating.

Co-sign, as much talent as they have they are only popular (hardcore wise) in Europe hence HBO pulling the plug…

I'd rather see a flawed, but exciting heavyweight champion than a dominant, boring one.
