I was about to post this lol, I'm sure it's real, eagles are very very strong creatures and as you saw could easily pick up a child. That kid is lucky his dad was there, birds of prey usually slam into their prey with their talons killing it, but I think because the dad was so close the eagle instead tried to pick the baby up and take off with it.
