More to the point, are you sure it isn't just artistic license,
using Jollibee, Chowking, and TokyoTokyo for the drawings?
Baka pinoy pala ang draftsman, hehe...
It's a thing we used to do for commercial development project
presentation sketches --use foreign storesigns, to avoid local
marketing issues.

artistic license, using Jollibee, Chowking, and
TokyoTokyo for the perspective drawings?

bro we are everywhere.
yeah theres hella pinoys here. u cant go anywhere without seeing one.
i believe all 4 stores, jollibee, tokyotokyo chowk, and red ribbon (lol red robin bootleg) are all gonne bi inside seafood city. i heard pinoy ane may ari.
the US Jollibee doesn't taste as good as the ones back home...and i dont think its just because im paying $5 for a Champ instead of $1.50
I'm usually either IL or TX, and I don't think Jollibee's there yet.
The NEW Champ costs a little under $2 now, but is a 1/3 pounder
(they had to match Mickey D's monster for weight: they already
had it beat for taste).

Thanks for the info.
Hope it opens soon, and you get your Jollifix.
*btw, Red Ribbon isn't a Red Robin 'bootleg'.
Ribbon's been around since 1979, before Robin ever
started franchising, or making a name for themselves.
The food product emphasis is markedly different too.
Red Robin's about burgers. Red Ribbon's a bakeshop.

I prefer KFC too, although it doesn't taste as good in the US (too dry).
meron na ba Popeyes sa Pilipinas? yun ang paborito ko dito

They tried in 03... didn't take, and it was gone by 2007.
Hindi nila makuha ang greasy goodness ng US Popeye's...
I was pretty fucking excited when it first came out, with
outlets in Greenhills, Cubao, etc.. but all three times I had
it, it was like eating refried cardboard.
And yeah, Popeye's kicks KFC's ass in the US.
KFC in the Philippines kicks US KFC's ass, 24/7.
