  • Comments Thread For: CompuBox: Manny Pacquiao's Punch Stats By The Minute

CompuBox broke down Pacquiao’s landed punches vs. Bradley round by round/minute by minute. Our findings may offer a clue as to what may have altered the scorecards of judges Ford and Ross (and even Roth's). Of Manny's 253 landed punches, 122 (48%) occurred in the final minute of each round. This should not have had an effect on the judges scoring since the entire round is scored, however, perhaps Manny created the perception that he was losing rounds by starting slow. Of his 253 landed punches, only 42 (17%) occurred in the first minute of each round. [Click Here To Read More]

it shows that 48% of his punches landed the last minute and 12% in the first.

which leaves a huge 40% of his punches in the second minute, sorta negates that only fighting one minute of the rounds theory but it doesnt even matter in my opinion. I saw him come out on top

They should do one for Bradley as well. Anyone watching the fight could see PAC landing more shots in the 2nd half of each round, so compubox isn't showing much with this analysis.

Pac basically only fought 2/3 of the fight. Which means he basically gave away 33% of it.

An evenly paced continuously active boxer would be throwing around 30-33% every round.

It said he threw 48% in the last minute and 17% in the first minute.......
                100% - 48% = 52% = round 1 & round 2 punches......52%-17% = 35% = round 2 punches
