What are the differences, if any, between a brawler style and a slugger style?

There is no textbook answer for this. If I had to break it down I'd say that a slugger is a fighter who is focused on trying get his opponent out of there. A brawler's goal is to dictate the tempo of the fight to his style to take the other boxer off his game plan.

IMO: A brawler is a fighter with crude technique and no gameplan, he's just in there to fight and do damage. A slugger is someone with great punching power as his only weapon
