At the age of 23 he has at least 2 more world cups in him, I hope he does also. There will be doubters out there who question his greatness until he does.

Yeah, and then you woke up. So what, he's an offensive machine, that's only one aspect of the game. I don't know much about soccer but the best players in that sport seem to great on offense or maybe defense but never the best defender and offensive player. A guy like Micheal Jordan who is without a doubt the best player in the NBA was by far the best scoring threat in the league, the most clutch player in the league and arguably one of the best defenders in leagues history. It's one thing to dominate one side of the ball but it's another to dominate both. Not to mention in soccer the playmakers don't play the whole field and the spotlight is no where near as it is compared to the Jordan example. Jordan was the spotlight in a game that is 5 on 5, not 10 on 10 or whatever soccer is. Don't even think they are even in the same league. A guy like Bo Jackson is also more talented than Messi as well.

The guy is like an artist on the pitch, nobody can touch him in any sport just now.

                  You serious?

So now you comparing how the sports contrast in relation to the greatness of the players?

Firstly, how in the hell could some who is 5ft 5inches be good on the defence? He is a striker/winger, His job is not to go running back and defend (in which he sometimes does either way.)
Secondly, A football pitch is 120 metres long with 11 players on each team,
A basketball court is 28 metres long with with 5 players on team. Its a more confined space with much less players. Obviously more is going to be expected from them in relation to tracking back and defending.

                  Thats a stupid argument.
