  • Comments Thread For: CompuBox Stats: Dawson Landed 59% of His Power Shots

In a battle of former light heavyweight champion in Montreal, Chad Dawson was the more consistent puncher throughout the fight- although Adrian Diaconu had his singular moments. Dawson landed 59% of his power shots, but never had Diaconu on the verge of a stoppage.

Most of those 60% landed punches were partially blocked, they didn't have the full impact. Dawson isn't featherfisted, what a ******ed thing to say.

What Are You Talking About...Dawson looked HORRIBLE! He Ran Most Of The Fight! He Wasn't Landing Many Punches...That CompuBox Is Biased Towards American Fighters...hahaha SARCASM! Just and example of how IGNORANT this FORUM has become lately!

I thought Adrian landed much more than that, he caught Dawson with some heavy shots several times. Nonetheless, great numbers for Dawson.

Chad did show that the fundamentals are still there and Manny can make him a more composed and polished fighter. He isn't going to kayo anyone, anytime soon but he should be able to get the W's. Had Manny trained Chad for the Pascal he wouldn't of lost that fight and if Hop mans up and fights Chad, Chad will win that fight as well. Like Tim Bradley, Chad can beat anyone but he certainly can lose because the pop really isn't there, he's not a monster but he is a very hard egg to break.

That's a good number. He should keep it there.

Maybe I'm going too far by calling him featherfisted. But he should be able to knock dudes out given the fact he comes into his fights weighing as much as a large Cruiserweight.

His power hand is his jab hand.
