  • Comments Thread For: Alexander Povetkin Expecting The Best Rahman Possible

The fight for the WBA World Heavyweight Championship is getting closer. On September 29, defending champion Alexander Povetkin (24-0, 16 KOs) and mandatory challenger Hasim Rahman (50-7-2, 41 KOs) will battle it out at the Sporthalle Hamburg, Germany. Since his last bout against Marco Huck, a lot has changed for team Povetkin. With ring legend Kostya Tszyu he has someone in his corner, who will help him to exploit his full potential. In the following interview Povetkin talks about his new training and his next opponent Hasim Rahman.

Alexandre Povetkin would need a time machine to find the best Rahman possible.

Potbelly Povetkin would do the sport a huge favour if he gets himself knocked out. It's the very least he could do.

            The best Rahmen possible ?

The best Rahmen possible ? With emphasis on "possible". Well, the best Rahmen possible is an overweight, over-rated and over-the-hill boxer. Povetkin will have an easy time with a decision. For all of you who criticize Povetkin... He was out of shape against Huck. I think povetkin has good skills. But he's too small ... he's just not a super heavyweight like the Clinchkos.

Rahman is like a turd that keeps popping back up no matter how many times you flush the toilet.
