I was never a Calzaghe fan, but I wish he was still fighting so he could murder Ward

I keep hearing about Ward is the best at 168, but Calzaghe would absolutely murder this guy who comes in with head like a billy goat, it wouldn't quite be a Lacy type beating but he would box Wards billy goat ears off to a UD12.

I miss the slapster for this reason. I'm measuring all the 168lbers against Calzaghe and none of them could beat him IMO....... Only maybe Bad Chad coming down to 168 would give him a really competitive fight.

Calzaghe would beat Ward, if Ward was 40 yrs old.

Ward has a similar style as Hopkins. I think Calzaghe can beat him, but not 100% about it. Ward can give him trouble because he would smother Calzaghe's workrate which is his best asset.

dnt think so...we saw calzaghe have all he could handle against an old hopkins and for the first few rounds against rjj. ward is younger and faster than either of those guys were at that point. lets face it, calzaghe's best wins were against declining stars.

I think it would be a tough fight, but people forget that Calzaghe was great at adjusting to syles. I remember him losing the first few rounds against Kessler too, then re-adjusting and outboxing him to a UD.

He couldn't even stop a past prime Jones.

Calzaghe struggled with an old Hopkins imagine him vs a Young version.

Ward wins a close fight. 7-5.
