This is a reply to that bull**** thread made by ako which had didnt have any legitimate reasons, or which didn't have facts in it. Over here ill post 15 simple reasons in one post on why Hatton deserves an equal or more share than Pacquiao:
1. Hatton is the 140 lb linear champ, Pacquiao is not, its for Hatton's belts, not Pacquiao's.
2. Hatton has only been knocked out only once by a former P4P Number 1 and a greatly skilled scientific boxer in Floyd Mayweather, who the majority would pick to beat Pacquiao as well, while Pacquiao has been KO'd by a couple of bums in philipines by knockouts.
3. Hatton brings 30,000 fans from the UK to travel to USA and buy tickets, mostly the expensive ones ($800 and above) as well as brings celebrities or rich british people who pay top money to watch him fight, pacquiao brings maybe 2000 people from the phillipines to travel to USA, EVEN IF THAT.
4. Hatton is famous worldwide (USA, Australia, UK and Rest of Europe), Pacquiao only in Philipines and Filipino/Latino community that lives in USA.
5. Hatton didn't need to fight Oscar in order to become a big draw in boxing.
6. When Pacquiao fought past prime fighters (Morales I, Barrera II, Marquez II) he either lost by close decision, won by boring decision, and lost yet got given a gift decision, while Hatton Stopped Tszyu (Ranked P4P No 2 at the time) and KO'd Castillo (Ranked P4P No 10 at the time).
7. Pacquiao can fight any active fighter from 130-147 and he wont make even close to as much as hes making in a 50-50 split against Ricky Hatton, even if he takes a 90-10 or 80-20 split against Marquez, Valero or Guzman, he will still make something like 5 or 6 million maximum if hes lucky, compare that against the 23 million + he can make against Hatton with the 50-50 split (PPV Revenue + Gate included + Share of British PPV Money Included that Hatton is willing to share)
8. Hatton can fight a bum ranked not even in the top 100 in Manchester with over 60,000 people attending, while at the same time making the same amount of money Pacquiao would against someone like Juan Manuel Marquez if not more than that.
9. Hatton has only lost once in his career to a P4P number 1 fighter in Mayweather who would be going in as a favourite against Pacquiao as well, while Pacquiao has lost fights with two filipino bums and a past his prime morales.
10. Ricky Hatton has more fans, who are more enthusiastic and will make the fight more lively, and is the bigger draw period. Who fuking gets about 60,000 people live and 1 million viewers in UK to watch you against the likes of Juan Lazcano? UK Alone, apart from the USA viewers who watched it later on!!!
11. Hatton generates PPV's from two countries, UK and USA. Moreso his home country, UK where he generated over 1 million PPV Buys in the Mayweather-Hatton fight compared to USA (850,000 buys). You can say that the PPV in USA did well mainly because of Mayweather, but then dont have double standards and also admit that the DLH-Pacquiao fight did well mainly because of DLH. Also how do you explain the 1 million+ PPV Buys from the UK? Because before the Hatton fight Mayweather was not known in UK, and people worship Hatton in UK.

Assuming Mayweather wont come out of retirement, this is the last chance for Pacquiao for making as much money as he can against Ricky Hatton, Imagine if DLH, Mayweather and Hatton were all retired? Who would Pacquiao fight and how much would he earned compared to what he can get? He would do his regular 200-300k ppv buys against big names and earn 4-5 mills including the revenue.
