After a tragic start to his year, super bantamweight Jonathan Oquendo (22-2, 15KOs) is finally ready to move forward with his life. A few days ago he appeared in court in Aibonito, Puerto Rico - and the southpaw pled guilty to a charge of negligence, related to a February ATV accident that resulted in the death of his girlfriend Melanie Miranda Columbus. The boxer received six months of probation. Oquendo is the WBO's Latino champion at 122-pounds.
