  • Comments Thread For: Hearn Reveals CRAZY Demands By Eubanks For Golovkin Fight!

Promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Sport admits he nearly fainted when Chris Eubank Jr. and his father/manager Chris Eubank Sr. outlined their demands for a fall fight with WBC/WBA/IBF/IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin.

hearn choose to protect his money basically, why give it all for a guy whos gonna leave you after this fight win or lose when you can get brook slaughtered and keep him at WW afterwards since hes signed long term for you. he still got joshua long term as well.

hearn chose to follow the contract. If you are signed up to be promoted by Hearn then that's what happens, not you the fighter promoting yourself. If you want operational control go promote yourself and don't sign promoter contracts.
When the Eubanks signed with Hearn they knew what they were signing up to - how it works. Now they fight Golovkin and they want to renegotiate everything.

Oh a Ward fan shitting on a GGG fight. How creative.

Why can you not just enjoy fights and stop hating? You rather have GGG sit on the bench for half a year, thats how pathetic you are?

          Also Brook > Brand.

(I know your excuse will be Ward agreed to fight Kovalev, but GGG also agreed to fight Canelo, Eubank, Froch, Saunders and Jacobs)

This fight cannot be justified, but it is the truth when some say that if he fought a middleweight who wasn't Jacobs, Saunders or Eubank they were going to trash him anyways, but a WW is not the solution, no matter how good he is in his division

That's GGG's problem. He doesn't bring in the money to make it worth for even average guys to want the fight. They will only take it on their terms since the PPV money won't be there.
That's why despite his 3 middleweight titles GGG is having to go to Brooks hometown to fight a welterweight with one decent win on his resume. Oh but now he gets to pay all of those sanctioning fee's to do it!

                  Eddie is a lying c*nt.

He was just telling us the other day that fights take time to get made, the back and forth on all terms, the legal aspects and whatnot. Now he's telling us he got Golovkin-Brook worked out, agreed and finalized in 48 hours.

He's been working on this fight in the background, that's why Eubank didn't see a contract.

If you are referring to Ward and super middle weight bum Brand, then yes, I agree it is a sham and a shame to the reputation of the sport.
