  • Wladimir Klitschko is the best p4p boxer in the last ten years

After richlockwoods horrible thread not even mention Wlad as skillful is a disgrace.

Look what Wlad did to Povetkin, won by more than 12 rounds, and Look what povetkin doe to other boxers.

Thats how good Wlad is,Look how Wlad perfomred in the Chris Byrd 2 fight and show me a better, more skilled performance by any fighter than that??

Not only does he judge distance and defence beautifully, his offence(unlike Floys which is laughable at best) is incredible. Stops Chris Byrd in 6/7 rounds from pure skill.

Poverkin, Haye, Pulev, Chagaev, Thompson, Jennings, Chris byrd, Sam peter, etc

The dude has not even close matches with these guys, Jennings was cosidrfed competitive and the dude won like one round. Where as Floyd has arguably drawn 2 of his last 5 fights, and drawn 4 fights in his last 7 years.

He isn't trolling he just can't live with the fact that the p4p #1 is apparently black and American. It's too much for his poor little racist and anti-USA soul.

              - Many of Wlad's opponents WILL become HOFers. They must first be retired for several years before admission. It's ridiculous to assume nobody would ever be admitted again otherwise HOF would cease to exist!

              - HOF/ATG are basically meaningless concepts, relevant only to what the boxer achieving it faced in their own time. Also it is an American construct with no relevance globally.

              - The opponents Wladimir has beaten are so formidable they would have knocked virtually every single HOFer out throughout history, let what Wladimir himself would do to them.

              Fact!

I disagree with the OP in the sense that I do not think Wladimir ranks lb for lb.

Almost no HW's can rank in a lb for lb sense in my opinion, because they can expressly outweigh their opponents and there is a very high statistical advantage that the more someone outweighs, the greater their chances of winning.

This is especially true of champs like Wlad, Ali, Vitali, Lewis, Holmes for example who also significantly out-talled their opponents as well.

Only Former Cruisers like Haye and Holyfield for example rate lb for lb with one single exception being Mike Tyson in my opinion.

As for Wladimir Klitschko, if not the ultimate boxer, H2H, he is atleast top 3.

And as far as achievement goes...
WLADIMIR KLITSCHKO HAS THE GREATEST RESUME OF ANY HW OF ALL TIME!
                And it's no longer debatable!

He has outshined his brother. He has out-shined LEnnox Lewis!

No HW has ever beaten so many good opponents. So many 200+ opponents, so many good+200+ opponents.

He has fought botyh the heftiest opponents on record, and the opponents with the best records that any boxer has faced.

He has faced the most diverse styles of boxer from the most international stock and in the era with the highest participation. And he dominated them all to a greater degree than any before him.

Povetkin, Pulev, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Peter, Jennings, Rahman, Haye, Thompson, Byrd, Chambers and on and on and on....

Even some of Wlad's WORST opponents (Leapai, Mormeck) were former champions or power-houses with good records, and were so thoroughly dominated.

It's clear.... The dude deserves his dues!

I think that, this time, it will be a very long time, possibly a century before he is topped in a relative sense.

Then again, I said the same about LEwis at the time and was answered in the next generation lol

What he did to Povetkin? clinched and held 150+ times in 12 rounds? I bet you're one of those idiots who complained about Floyd Mayweather clinching Pacquiao even though he did it less than 30 times over 12 rounds. GTFOH!
