He seemed tired after the first 3 rounds or so, but seeing as how it was in Colorado the altitude could have been a significant factor. He was very slow but very active throughout the fight, his aggression and body attack was rewarded but so was his lack of defense, he loves the taste of those right hands. He seemed bothered from a few punches but not like everyone claims he was. He also has significant power, he was hurting a LHW with those body shots from time to time. Sadly his gas tank and inexperience were not up to par, thus he failed to jump on Vlasov.
Overall it was a good performance against a wily vet from a weight division above his. Add the fact that it was fought in a location of high altitude and you have your recipe for a bad night. Did he gain any new fans from this? Doubt it. Did he gain anything at all from this? I think so. In fact, in a recent interview he said he wanted to return to the ring as soon as possible in order to correct his mistakes. That shows his determination to become a name in the sport and his willingness to grow.

I wasn't paying complete attention, with that said, I scored it a Draw. If anyone got the decision, however, Ramirez deserved it more as he was busier. It was that kind of fight. Vlasov has a punch and some awkwardness, but is sloppy with a low workrate. Ramirez just stuck to mixing it up in the traditional way and did more work throughout, despite getting stunned a few times. They were both worn out from the altitude.
It's really stupid to have fights at high altitude, like Denver. Hopefully they never return, and how Alvarado had the clout to get the event held there is a complete mystery.

Agree with the majority in this thread. He did alright considering his age, his opponent and other circumstances. He showed plenty of flaws but he didn't perform as poorly as it was made out to be in the immediate aftermath.
