If Roc Nation was gonna bid 2 mil for the fight that doesn't mean Wilder would get that 2 mil. As the challenger he doesn't even get 50-50 if it's a purse bid

This is what happens when you have no minimum fights per year and no minimum dollars per fight

Haymon can sit Wilder out ad nauseam

This is old. Supposedly the fight is close to being signed. Who cares how much wilder gave up.

From what I've read, they offered Wilder a 5 fight promotional deal with $2 million up front for the Stiverne fight. Don't know how much more he would have gotten after that but the $2 million was all his up front. Al Haymon squashed it anyways.

Thanks for clearing that up. The linked article was very vague and read more like a post from a butthurt fan.

So if not Wilder, who else can or will Stiverne fight?
Wilder must know that he can't earn any real money unless he holds a belt and the most beatable titlist at heavyweight right now is Stiverne.
