On Saturday evening, former two division champion Devon Alexander returned to the win column with an unanimous decision victory over rugged veteran Jesus Soto Karass.
In the evening's main event, Robert Guerrero also returned to the winner's circle with an unanimous decision victory over the tougher than expected Yoshiro Kamegai of Japan.
When asked for his thoughts on the fight, Alexander thought that even though Guerrero won, he could have done better.

"He did what he had to do to get the victory . I thought he looked a little sluggish but he got the win," Alexander stated.
As far as his future plans, Alexander said that he wants the biggest and best fights possible and said that he would welcome a fight against Guerrero, a rematch with Shawn Porter or even a showdown with the often avoided Keith Thurman.
"You know the welterweight division is stacked but to be honest Ryan, it doesn't matter . Anybody from Thurman to Guerrero to Khan to Porter. The list goes on and on," Alexander revealed.
The 27-year-old former two-division champion finished our conversation by saying they he favors Canelo Alvarez to defeat Erislandy Lara in their July 12th pay-per-view clash.
"I think Lara versus Canelo is an awesome card . Overall I think Canelo will take it because of the power difference," Alexander told Boxingscene.com.
