Filipino Vergilio Silvano battles Japan’s IBF minimumweight champion Katsunari Takayama in a title fight in Osaka on December 3.
The 23 year old Silvano is a southpaw and has a record of 17-2-1 with 10 knockouts while Takayama is 30 and parades a record of 25-6 with 10 knockouts.
After losing two of his first three four-round bouts as a professional in 2007, Silvano has strung up 17 wins in a row.
