Tonight will be the first episode where they are living in the house and actually training under Greg Jackson, Shamrock, Couture, and Warren. I'm pretty interested to see their training methods and getting some elite mma coaches insights into the game.

Personally, I'd crawl through a pile of poop to be trained by frank
Edit: been searching for this video on YouTube for years, finally somebody put it up

Wow having 2 fights instead of 1 made it seem more like a mini fight card instead of a tuf episode. Also, seeing and hearing the coaches like that during the fights seemed to make it more intense for me...how the heck can the fighters realistically follow every little direction thats being shouted at them at all times while concentrating on the fight as well? What did you guys think?

Thanks for posting this

I'm personally no fan of Greg Jackson. I don't like his emphasis on fighting for a decision. I was a wrestler and I even watch wrestling to this day believe it or not, but I can't stand the philosophy that takedowns with no damage and stalling is a way to win a fight. Jackson seems to emphasize gaming judges as much as fighting.
I've always thought Randy Couture was a great coach. He was in fact an assistant wrestling coach at Oregon State before he started fighting, and he has been successful in the MMA fight club business, from the Team Quest days through to Xtreme Couture.
Frank Shamrock is another veteran and his experience can only help. I like his style of fighting.

I've warmed up to Greg Jackson since watching him on this show but I feel the same way as you about his fighting style that he teaches. He might be the single biggest cause of the point fighting, lack of aggression while on striking the feet, and fighting just to win the round with not much intention to finish fights in the UFC nowadays.

I'm just glad he wasn't able to sway the judges with all his 'that's a point' bs.
