  • More impressed with a typical Mayweather clinic? Or coming back from adversity?

I sense that Mayweather will put on another clinic vs Canelo in a fight where many are for some reason saying is THE defining fight of the HOFer's entire career.

However I also believe that with that clinic will come the normal critics who look to turn the win into a "Canelo was just a young, inexperienced, overrated, once tested, hype fighter who had not business in the ring with Floyd.".

So to those who are critics of Floyd, would you be more impressed if he tasted the canvas, ate hard shots, was being outboxed, yet found a way to win or at least make it close in a losing effort? Or would him simply outboxing Canelo, which he normally does, good enough for you?

Everyone wants excitement so obviously if floyd was dropped shet would hit the fan canelos the only true 154lber to fight floyd so we could see floyd sniffing canelos shoes but we all know floyds movement is too much

I know what Canelo is capable of, so I'd be more impressed if he dominates, which is what I'm expecting.

If Floyd gets hurt, dropped and comes back to win his hype would be unreal. If he dominates then "well the catchweight affected Canelo, Canelo wasn't ready, etc. etc."

I'm hoping for both scenarios...him doing what he does while landing clean shots...and Canelo hurting him similar to how Mosley did but the results being the same after.

I just want to see an entertaining fight. It's sad that certain fans care more about what people say after a fight, than the fight itself.

For a fan base that acts so tough, Floyd fans are ****ing sensitive when it comes to fans talking about their guy.

Waaaaaa they're not giving Floyd any credit !! You think Floyd cares what anyone says, while he's making in rain on strippers?

As long as he wins I don't care how it looks; a win is a win

I Think the 2 pounds may be to open the possibility of an argument to justify a rematch in the future and more $$$.

If they were concern with weight I think they would´ve asked for a rehydration clause, or both.

i dont care if its a typical clinic or adversity.... as long as its a credible opponent im happy. i would be impressed with both.

guerrero was no threat, most were expecting a boxing clinic... but what amazed me was how GOOD floyd looked. speed, reflexes, power shots, etc. vintage floyd.

so now floyd taking on canelo would be his first REAL dangerous opponent, IMO... i say its a bit early, canelo needs more seasoning and conditioning, but im happy the fight is being made.

CW or not, i give floyd props for this fight.
