  • Is Johnathon Banks A Three Time National Amateur Champ?

I don't see any evidence that Johnathon Banks....described by Emanuel Steward as one of the best amateurs in the country at one time....that he won any National Amateur Championships. I see it posted on numerous occasions that he was 3 time 178 National amateur champion and I don't see any record of it. I am a fan of his, I think he will win the rematch against Mitchell and he put up quite an effort against Adamek but is this amateur record really a fabrication?

US national amateurs isn't no joke, this guy turned pro at 22 so he would have had to win it three years in a row at age 19,20,21, maybe he won it skipping a year but I don't see evidence of him winning any national golden glove or amateur let alone 3.......
