  • Furious with the endings of Dexter, Homeland and The Sopranos...

So i thought i'd treat myself by wrapping up The Sopranos and watching the season finales of Dexter and Homeland on the same night.

    WHAT THE ****?.

There was clearly another season left to wrap The Sopranos up.

As for Dexter and Homeland, they may have just put a big banner on screen saying "WE'VE JUST TOTALLY MADE THIS **** UP AT THE LAST MINUTE, IN ORDER TO DRAG ANOTHER SEASON OUT".

    ****S.

The Ending of The Soprano's was excellent. I've kinda gotten bored of Dexter though and havnt seen Homeland yet but I've heard good things about it.

I need to watch the latest season of Southland too.

Havent followed/seen the other shows, but as far as dexter, i thought it was a good season finale. Im not sure if youre aware, but a season or two ago the producers/showtine
agreed that season 8 would be the last season, and that they would begin writing to close out the show/story. So in that sense, as far as 'dragging out another season', i think they are just preparing for the conclusion, whatever that may be.

Personally, i didnt get the sense that they wrote that at the last minute.

It was ridiculous how he got away with it yet again. Debra killing La Guerta?, yeah right.

They should have let him get caught.

I thought the whole season was building up to a big war, but it built up to nothing.

Deb killing laguerta is believable imo. She was in a position where it was either arrest or kill dexter her brother, in which case he would die anyways and deb would be arrested too for accomplice, or kill laguerta, her b1tch of a boss.

Im curious/excited to see how the show ends next season. Deb used her gun to kill laguerta, so that could get pinned on her, or if laguerta dissapears that will look suspicious as hell for dexter. My guess is either debra admits to being the bay harbor butcher and takes the fall, or she kills herself and dexter gets caught. Idk, one season left to conclude the story.

I liked the ending of this season of Dexter. Of course he got away with it, he always does in this show.

It was cringe worthy. This whole season was wishy-washy.

It lost all it's realism this season. It was like everything the show was all about for the last 6 years was sacrificed for bogus twists.

The arsonist had potential and he just got clipped straight away.

I wish it was as good as season 4, that was a real nemesis for Dexter.

                  Agreed.

                  Season 4 was a beast.

I thought season 4, well all seasons for that matter, were good. Some moreso than others, with that said some things really annoyed me in season 4 tho, for instance when trinity set up dexter when he went to that arcade and called dexter, dexter heard the noises and figured he knew where trinity was to go look for him, exactly what trinity wanted to follow him. It was obvious to me that it was a setup from the beginning, i was annoyed/disappointed in dexter lol.

If i had to pick a favorite season, id probably pick season 1
