  • Should I drop my Data plan on Verizon?? ...

I spend 30 for home wifi with Brighthouse and because I have a iPhone which is 3G only i pretty much have to use Wifi anywhere I go anyway because my 3G sucks so bad.

The other place I spend a lot of time at is my job which has really fast wifi so I'm always locked into that of course for my iPhone and iPad.

So the result is I'm paying top dollar for my grandfathered unlimited Data plan with Verizon which comes out to about 140.00 a month and I'm not using any Data ! I wanna drop the Data but am afraid because Verizon does not offer unlimited anymore so it's a big decision....

    What do u guys think?

With all the bitching you do about Apple, you have an iPhone and an iPad?

So wait, your unlimited data plan costs 140 a month or is that your entire bill? That sounds really high.

see's 'Brighthouse' looks at location...they're running a campaign with our company...good to know the ads were geo targeted correctly...last FL campaign we ran, it was accidentally targeted to Wyoming

I have had my 4S and iPad both for almost a year.

And that is what my bill comes out to for unlimited everything. Including Data (after taxes)

Oh, gotcha. That's pricey but not that bad considering it's unlimited everything. IDK man, I have the same dilemma. I don't really want to drop my unlimited data plan because it does come in handy on the few months that I need it throughout the year. Like you, I have WiFi at home and at work and that's what I use because it's much faster. My home WiFi is really fast so I'd never use data at home, unless the power is out. I think you are required to have some kind of data plan since you have a smart phone. I personally would keep it. Even the lowest data plan is still like 15 bucks a month I think and it's only like 200MB. :jerk:

I have AT&T so it might be a little different but in my experience, the two companies basically mimic each other as far as what they offer for plans. When I looked into it I decided it wasn't worth it.
