You must be blind because those programs convert mkv to mp4 format which is encoding. I don't want to encode a video file, I just want to split 4 gb fat splits so I can run it on my ps3.

Mkv2vob on windows is a very fast method into splitting files into 4gb fat files so I can watch hd content on my ps3 with that method. Encoding an mp4 video for about and hour or 2 with some quality loss is not good.

What do you use to open .zip, .rar and all types of formats? I'm using a software with a sheep on it called Zipeg. Is Zipeg the best for that in your opinion?

I guess its opinions to which is best when it comes to unrar, or unzip programs. But this website claims zipeg is the best for whatever reason.

I've also noticed that Utorrent is pretty ****ty on the mac. If you download a torrent with multiple files it won't let you uncheck things like in windows Utorrent client so you don't download files you don't want. It's kind of weird the Mac version does this.
