I know you`re usually wrong but this is a whole new degree of wrong. The Stone Roses only produced one noteworthy record plus a collection of B-Sides. The Second Coming was dog-arse.

The Queen is Dead is better than anything the Stone Roses ever did, and comparing one great album to four great albums is not coming out very well for Ian Brown et al.

I used to work with the Stone Roses' original bass player.

That 1 album is a totally different beast. It was certainly better than any of The Smiths albums.

Standing Here was also a better song than anything The Smiths ever produced.
