Would any of you ever keep a snake as a pet?

Man i'm watching Animal Planet and see snake owners. I don't know how they do it. How can you possibly keep a cold blooded reptile and raise it?

depends on how big it gets. If the boa has limited growth to the point where it doesn't get over 15ft, then i would keep one. Anything over that would be too much to handle, i've known ppl with snakes as pets though; my dads friend brought a baby python to Albert Einstein Center in NY(that's where they worked), and i got to play with it. the baby python was about 4-5ft

Yep, and I have. No hassle with snakes, they keep themselves to themselves. Don't need feeding every day.
Don't have to shoot them when they get old like you do with dogs.

Yep I would. My sister and brother and law have 2 snakes, 1 is a 5 foot long burmese python. I like snakes I would definitely own one.
