I was at the fight, watching most of it on the big screen, so i saw what the rest of you saw. Foreman was boxing and not brawling, thats true. But he also landed some solid punches in every single round, and in my estimation both of them were winning/losing rounds by razor thin margins. The only definitive round of the fight before the knee injury was Round 1 going to Cotto. Now I'm a Cotto fan but he got cracked quite a few times and he got countered effectively alot. If Foreman was just running and holding I could see where the hate comes from. But he was moving, setting, and hitting. How is that a ***** move? That's how he was going to win.
Anyway, like I said, I had the first 6 rounds as 4-2 Cotto, but almost every round but Rd. 1 was competetive and coulda gone either way. Stop hating and give Yuri a little credit. I know he's not that popular and pretty unknown, but the dude fought hard and tried to entertain til he basically couldn't stand up on his own anymore. If that doesn't earn your respect I'm not sure what will.
P.S. - If Cotto was in Foreman's position and fought til he couldn't even walk, we would be calling it "vintage" Miguel. And you'd be right. but give credit where it's due when it's the other guy as well.
