  • Screwball Mayweather Fan Sends Me Crazed Private Messages On Youtube (Long But Funny)

This is pretty long but I HAD to share it.

The other day I was watching a highlight video of Mayweather and I noticed there was a guy called TGUNZ562, saying Floyd is the greatest of all time. He was talking about how much greater Floyd is than Whitaker ever was. I said something to the affect of "Gimme a break lol".

    This is what happened next...

    FIRST MESSAGE FROM TGUNZ562

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the greatest fighter of all time. He would of beat Ray Robinson. He would of beat Ray Leonard. Floyd's defense is superior to Sweet Pea's. The proof is in the pudding. Watch the fights. Pernell took way more punches than Floyd has. No boxer has ever accomplished what Mayweather has and took less damage. Iam a boxing nut. This sport is my life. I have watched and studied every fight of any substance since 1900.Floyd Mayweather's resume is flawless. I love Pernell Whitaker, don't get me wrong, but better than Floyd Mayweather Jr. he is not. There are no two fighters who I have studied more than Pernell Whitaker and Floyd Mayweather Jr., with maybe the exception of Aaron Pryor. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the greatest fighter of all time and a lot of that has to do with him having the best defense of all time. Offense sells tickets and PPVs, but defense wins championships

    MY FIRST REPLY

Why didn't you just post in the video?

Anyway, the first part of your post just sounds like satire. FMJ better than Ray Robinson? All you're doing is insisting your position is correct. You're making blind assertions and not backing them up with any facts. Mayweather's resume is flawless? Why? Because he's undefeated? Surely you can't mean he's fought the best competition. I could name 10 guys off the top of my head with better resumes.

Whitaker never lost a fight clearly until he fought Trinidad. Whitaker was WAY past his prime, had a drug problem and still went 12 rounds with Trinidad who was a giant killer of a welter weight. Is that what you mean when you say he got hit more than Floyd? If you've really seen as much boxing as you claim, you would have seen the first Castillo fight where Floyd took many solid punches. You would have seen Floyd get rocked by Corley and knocked down by Judah. Whitaker also has a greater resume and has beaten better competition. That's why ring magazine had him ranked the 9th greatest fighter of the last 80 years.

See, you can't just make things up as you go along and not present any evidence to back them up.

    SECOND MESSAGE FROM TGUNZ562

Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the only fighter to ever beat Genaro Hernandez at 130 pounds. You insist on facts, yet you make incorrect statements. Zab Judah did not knock Floyd down. The only time Floyd ever has had a official knockdown was against Carlos Hernandez. This knockdown was a result of Mayweather taking a voulentary knee! He hurt his hand punching Hernandez, it was not a result of ANYTHING Hernandez did to Floyd. Diego Corrales, regardless of what he went on to become, was the most feared man in the division when Floyd knocked him down 5 times and eventually out. Corrales was freakishly tall for the weight class and was an undefeated one punch KO artist. The only person who was rocked in Mayweather/Corley was Corley. He got knocked down twice, in the 8th round as well as in the 10th. THESE are facts. The bull**** you were saying is a bunch of fantasy that you made up in your head. The Ring NEVER ranked Pernell Whitaker the 9th greatest fighter of all time. I own an issue of The Ring in which they ranked the greatest LIGHTWEIGHTS ever. Pete barely cracked the top 20, so nowhere in the Ring pages has he cracked the top 10 EVER. I know my ****. Don't come at me with all this **** you fictionalized and expect me not to call you out on it. Floyd is by far the most unhittable fighter to ever live. Pernell Whitaker without question endured more damage in his career than Floyd has in his. Floyd has never been in any kind of serious trouble let alone been knocked down. Juan Manuel Marquez is going to find out exactly how good Floyd is on July 18th. I doubt you'll have the balls to message me after that display of brillance. All personal opinions and bias aside, EVERYthing you said about Floyd Mayweather was either a complete lie or at the very least inaccurate

    MY SECOND REPLY

Actually Judah did knock Floyd down. Watch the video on youtube if you haven't seen the fight. Richard steele incorrectly ruled it a slip. It was clearly a knockdown. But that's really beside the point. Lets get back those facts you were talking about.

"I own an issue of The Ring in which they ranked the greatest LIGHTWEIGHTS ever. Pete barely cracked the top 20, so nowhere in the Ring pages has he cracked the top 10 EVER."

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_Ma..._Last_80_Years

    1. Sugar Ray Robinson
    2. Henry Armstrong
    3. Muhammad Ali
    4. Joe Louis
    5. Roberto Duran
    6. Willie Pep
    7. Harry Greb
    8. Benny Leonard
    9. Sugar Ray Leonard
    10. Pernell Whitaker

    Pwned.

What I would recommend to you is that before you start talking, you should learn a little bit about what you're talking about. At the very least, don't say Floyd is the greatest fighter of all time while you call other people bias and inaccurate. You're just making a complete fool of yourself which I assume is the reason you sent me a private message instead of simply continuing in public. If you weren't so aggressive, you wouldn't look like such an ******* when you sit around making this **** up.

"The bull**** you were saying is a bunch of fantasy that you made up in your head."

    How ironic lol

I THEN HAD TO MESSAGE HIM AGAIN BECAUSE

    By the way...

"I own an issue of The Ring in which they ranked the greatest LIGHTWEIGHTS ever. Pete barely cracked the top 20, so nowhere in the Ring pages has he cracked the top 10 EVER."

The issue you're refering to is the september 2001, issue of The Ring. They gave a list of the grestest Lightweights of all time.

    2. BENNY LEONARD
    3. PERNELL WHITAKER
    4. JOE GANS

    17. JACK McAULIFFE
    18. ISMAEL LAGUNA
    19. AD WOLGAST

    Pwned again.

    I await his reply lol

I never quite understood why anyone could be so fanatical about one fighter.

That sounds like pbftxrs316 by the way, although I'm not certain. He once stated that Victoriano Sosa was more of a threat to Floyd Mayweather than a prime Roberto Duran and that Hatton's skillset is comparable to Duran's.

That's half the reason I posted this here. It would be hilarious if someone knew who it was.

What a f@ggot. After all that bull**** he has nothing to say. This is part of the reason it's so hard to like Mayweather sometimes. He has the most ******ed fans I've ever seen.

I didn't even say anything disrespectful. It's even worse when they try to tell you what boxing geniuses they are. I swear, %99 of arguments I have online are all fun and games, but this h0mo really rubbed me the wrong way. What a waste of time.

          THIRD MESSAGE FROM TGUNZ562

The issue of the Ring that listed the greatest 20 lightweights ever is not from 2001. The Ring ranked Pernell Whitaker the number 18 or 19 greatest lightweight. As far as the top 10 list, ive never seen that before. But who gives a ****. You base your knowledge of boxing of a publication? **** The Ring, other than 2 or 3 columnist there a bunch of bias idiots. Especially now that there owned by Golden Boy. So in other words The Ring magazine could say Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the worst fighter of all time and I wouldn't give a ****. Harry Greb??? Harry ****ing Greb??? There is only 2 or 3 full length films of him. Combined that with 5 to 10 snippets and there is no way anyone could accuratley depict him. Same goes for Benny Leonard. I would be willing to bet that YOU have never seen a Harry Greb OR Benny Leonard fight. Ive seen one Benny Leonard fight and a couple of Greb clips that couldnt of lasted more than a combined 5 minutes. How can Roberto Duran be the 5th greatest fighter of all time? Thomas Hearns knocked his jaw into the 3rd row. Thomas Hearns was a better fighter than Roberto Duran. Marvin Hagler was a better fighter than Roberto Duran. I don't give a **** about these Ring fantasy list. And furthermore these fantasy list are compiled by the author of the article and therefore represent the view of a columnist, not the entire publication. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the greatest fighter of all time. He would of beat Ray Robinson. He would of beat Ray Leonard. He would of beat Roberto Duran. Better than Hector Camacho. Better than Pernell Whitaker. From 130 to 154 pounds no fighter from any era in boxing could beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. Not Shane Mosley. Not Manny Pacquiao. Marco Barrera, Erik Morrales, Juan Marquez, or Edwin Valero. All these fighters would lose to Mayweather Jr. Form your own opinion, quite relying on The Ring's journalist to argue for you. Create your own valid point. Im not saying my opinion of Floyd Mayweather Jr. isn't debatable, I just reject blind ignorance such as the notion that Roberto "No Mas" Duran was a better fighter than Floyd. Just wait and see on July 18th. I have made more than $20,000 in my life betting with people just like you on Floyd Mayweather fights.

          MY THIRD REPLY

First you incorrectly cite The Ring as a source, then when I give you the facts you say "**** The Ring."

"The Ring ranked Pernell Whitaker the number 18 or 19 greatest lightweight."

For the second time, no they didn't. You made that up. I gave you the facts and now you're simply pretending otherwise. How embarrassing.

"As far as the top 10 list, ive never seen that before. But who gives a ****."

You gave a **** before you were proven wrong! Stop backpeddling. Either defend your words or admit you didn't know what you were talking about.

"Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the greatest fighter of all time. He would of beat Ray Robinson. He would of beat Ray Leonard. He would of beat Roberto Duran."

Blah blah blah. More speculation and you're repeating youself now. Wow. A 1000 word reply and you didn't even try to give a rebuttal. All you did was change the subject and start talking about a bunch of other guys, again demonstrating you don't know anything about boxing. You should have just kept your mouth shut about Duran and others because now you sound like even more of a fool, which really isnt surprising since you actually don't know much about boxing.

I thought this was going to be a real debate. Where is all the boxing knowledge you talked about? Why won't you back up what you said now that I've proven you wrong? Once again, I will post this on boxingscene.com and you can challenge me in public if you want.
