Mayweather can't hurt Cotto!

This might have been posted before, but I'm bored so here it goes anyway:

If these two ever meet in the ring I say Cotto by KO or Money May by decision. I just don't see Mayweather hurting Cotto. On the other hand, I have a problem seeing Cotto outbox May like he did Mosley (some might argue that fight...leave it for another thread). Who do you think wins this fight? Also I see Clottey being way more dangerous for Cotto than Mayweather. What do yall think?

An for the Mayweather stans...I hope ya boy gets to fight Cotto or Clottey if he wins...cause his resume needs one of them so he can really be the P4P king. Bring it!!!

Mayweather can definitely hurt Cotto. His pop is seriously underrated.

However, I don't think he would fight aggressive enough to. Cause he's the man and doesn't give a **** if he wins a decision, as long as he wins. At the higher weights he hasn't fought as aggressive as he did at the lower weights. Even with Hatton the punch that was the beginning of the end was a counter check hook.

Mayweather CAN hurt Cotto. But he's too smart to put himself in position of getting cracked by Cotto when he can beat him other ways.

Mayweather can very well KO Cotto..

Mayweather is FAST and Cotto has been BUZZED by mainly QUICK punchers..like Corley, Judah, and Torres..

Mayweather isn't feather fisted neither as he was able to KO Hatton..which I predicted..I wouldn't sleep on Mayweathers speed/power Combo..it may not be the most powerful..but it can do damage!!..

and Cotto also has SPEED and his timing is better than anybody Mayweather has faced..Cotto would just need to mix it up and not try to be the agressor the entire night and pick his shots wisely..but COMBO up at the same time..and Mayweather would not be able to handle 2 different opponents in the same ring..Cotto has the tools to be one of the few out there to defeat Mayweather...but he has to bring his A++ Game..

All in All...

I'd probably say a Mayweather decision would be the outcome..

Good post! For the most part I agree with you, but I don't think Mayweather can KO Cotto, but he can definetly win on points. As for speed yes Cotto has improved in this area, but I don't think he could match Mayweather there. I also always thought that Judah and Torres had a bit of power?

What a honest post. Floyd def has power he just doesn't use it because of the condition of his hands and most of the time b/c he doesn't need to. We all seen wat happened when Floyd realized Hatton was becoming fatigued. Floyd fighting at full speed is dangerous.

Torres was undefeated wit a record of like 26 wins and 24 KO's..but YES dude is POWERFUL!..Judah's lightning speed is also very very powerful as well..and Corley..his speed is his POWER!..he's got underrated power..but even Mayweather got buzzed by Corley!..peep 3:09 of that video..you'll see what I mean..
