  • HBO gets credit!

Give HBO it cudos for at least giving us better fight cards. And saying they would only air fight cards of quality. Cant say the same for other promoters and PPV for screwing us with fights nobody wants to see anyway. Juan Manuel Marquez vs Juan Diaz is on HBO and Cotto and jennings on PPV ...makes no sense to me along with the whole PPV line up to Hatton - Pacquiao. This is a list of figHt cards PPV has that makes no sense....FEB 21 ( Cotto- Jennings with a undercard of...Anthony Peterson-Edner Cherry, John Duddy-Matt Vanda) and on the same night FEB,21 (Kelly Pavlik - Marco Antonio Rubio , Brain Camechis- Ruben Galvan, Miguel Rodriguez- Hector Marengo) . Boy the blot thickens... On March 14th (Marco Antonio Barrara - Amir Khan.) interesting fight but not PPV quality! Flyweights have their main event PPV match as well....( Nontio Donaire - Raul Martinez wiyh their under card bout Ulises Solis- Brain Vilora) WOW!!! Funny Vic Darchinyans fight was on Showtime and not PPV and hes Undisputed. LAst but not least and the one i find funniest....March 21(Roy Jones Jr. - Omar Sheika) Lol. I said last but not least , but on March 28 there is anotherPPV event not even worth talking about.. We as fans need to put this out there so it stops happening. If nobody buys ,the only thing they can do is give us something to buy worth while. Out of 14 fights only 6 fighters are top ten... and only two are fighting each other....SAD!!

The February 21st/Donaire fights are on PPV because no network would buy either

The March 28th fights are on PPV because latin fury cards always do pretty good numbers and turn a profit. The gate should be solid in Tiajuana with Julio Ceasar Chavez Jr, and some of Mexico's best.

The Barrera-Khan card is being broadcast by Integrated Sports PPV, and would otherwise not be seen in the US. Its has two title fights on the undercard and is a fine buy at $25!

Not network would pay to see Jones, but the PPV gives diehards a chance to see the fight and the gate should be good in Pensacola. If you dont wanna see it, no one is forcing you to buy it!

HBO should only do one or two ppv's per year, they are watering down the validity of a true ppv match.
