Hi...I not only luv jazz, but most kinds of music depending on the song. To me, Hendrix was king of the electric guitar, and i really love most of his music. but jazz is my fav kind of music.

Though a lot of his stuff is blues based, he was a great innovator and opened up new doors in what you can do with an electric guitar. i also think he had a great voice. and just the way he dresses and all, his appearance has the affect Miles Davis had, the man's sheer appearance blows you away.

I seen Miles 3 times, and he was a wonder to behold. I never seen Jimi live, but i can see he probably made the same impression. To me he was the best at what he did at the time. Besides, i had plans to go to woodstock, but my ride fell through.

Man, was i super-pissed...lol. So i use Hendrix pics to pay tribute to a legend. Sometimes it's Miles, other times random pics of jazz art, i used to have my drums as an avi. I seen Joshua Redman...awesome live.
